A series may improve operating consistency; a flexible account may explore more angles. Measure creative workload and concepts tested too. Otherwise you may compare a well-resourced system with an underfunded one. This protocol presumes no winner.
Archive the concepts actually published in each group. A chaotic account may appear stronger because it received the best subjects. A series may appear more stable because its variations were less ambitious. A creative record makes these differences discussable instead of hiding them behind a format label. The result should explain the tested systems, not imply that one loosely defined category has defeated another in every possible context.
The controlled variable is recognisability
A repeatable format gives viewers a stable way into the idea. A deliberately looser post can feel immediate and surprising. The mistake is to compare a polished recurring series with a careless outtake and conclude that structure beats chaos, or to compare a brilliant spontaneous moment with a lifeless template and conclude the opposite. Define what changes between the treatments: opening rhythm, visual consistency, narrative order or production finish. Keep the audience problem and the quality of the underlying observation as similar as the experiment allows.

A format is infrastructure for an idea, not a replacement for having something worth saying.
